Media
Leaked content
Content of Roan's that have been leaked should never be directly uploaded to the wiki, as well, any external links to unreleased or leaked content should never be towards illegal or unsafe forums.
Any confirmed upcoming content which has leaked before its scheduled release date should not have its respective lyrics or any links to the file added to pages, as to not ruin the fun for other people.
On each page dedicated to an unreleased or leaked song, it must have [[Category:Unreleased]] added to the the page. In the song's infobox, use File:Unreleased.jpeg as the cover.
- On certain songs like "Red Eye" and "Hey You", which have been sold and released under a different artist, the cover art of their released version should be used instead.
Fan-fiction or "fanon" content
Fan created content should only be present on a personal blog (see StrawberrycowMorutedoll's "Lavish") or a discussions post. It should never be created as an actual page on the wiki, as to not spread misinformation. Any "fanon" content written as a normal page is subject to permanent deletion. Remember to always include the fanon category if you opt to use a blog.
Grammar
Capitalization
A page should always be titled after the most recent release of a song, and in cases where the capitalization has been changed, leaving a redirect from the old capitalization to the new is always recommended.
If you are adding a category to a page, it should always be in typical sentence case (IE: "Chappell Roan songs" and not "Chappell Roan Songs")
Language and dialects
All content on the wiki should be easy to type with a Latin alphabet keyboard. Additionally, please always keep the content in American English.
Tone
Content should never be biased towards a specific individual. Never include personal opinions, and always try and think about what you're writing from a different point of view. Make sure to always use a professional tone, avoiding cliché, vagueness, slang, and filler words.
Quotation marks vs italicizing
Albums and EPs should be italicized, while songs or tours should be put in quotation marks.
Wikitext
Links
Avoid links that lead to non-existent pages or are unsafe to visit. Never include punctuation within the link, for example: "Rules." rather than "Rules.".
Display titles
Display titles should only be used to remove disambiguation from a page title (a disambiguation being School Nights (song)), correcting capitalization of the first letter of a page title, since Fandom automatically capitalizes it, or to italicize the title of an album or EP.
