Following Roan's departure from the label, it was later re-released through Amusement Records and Island Records. The song serves as a standalone single and isn't included on Roan’s debut album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess.
Background[]
Roan began working with songwriter and producer Daniel Nigro in early 2020.[1] The pair first worked on "Pink Pony Club", which was released a month prior to "Love Me Anyway".[2] Roan announced the track on April 28, 2020, for release on May 1.[3]
