Shigella is Chappell Roan's self-proclaimed "pet" who makes an appearance during her performance of "Coffee" on the Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things Tour. Shigella was created by Andrea Chiampo with creative direction from Griffin Stoddard, who also worked on the rest of the tour.

Shigella first made her on-stage debut on May 30, 2025 in Warsaw, Poland during the Orange Warsaw Festival.[1]
A week later, Roan revealed her name to be Shigella on June 7, 2025 during Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona, Spain.[2]
